One of my favourite things about where I live is how the trees look in Winter. I took this one just a few blocks from my house. The sun came out for a few moments just as I was preparing to take the shot. It was really quiet and my camera made this evil laughing noise just before it took the photo. I forgot it was even on. It's this kitchy function that's supposed to encourage the subject to smile, although it's more likely to scare the bejesus out of you. I think the guy walking down the opposite side of the street was a bit confused.
